Stop by Oscar Mayer to meet your teachers, tour the school (new students only), learn about FOM, buy Mayer Spirit Wear, grab a bite, pair up with your Bulldog Buddy, and more…

Visit classrooms & take school tours

PreK/K Families
Enter through basketball court door at 11:30am and go directly to your classroom for a brief orientation + classroom viewing

NEW 1st-8th Graders (& their families)
Meet at the Main Entrance on Clifton at 11:30am and tour the school

12:00 - 12:30pm

ALL STUDENTS (& THEIR FAMILIES) Meet your Teachers!
Teachers will be outside in their designated spots for 30 minutes to meet with all families. View the map of meetup locations here.

Mayer Mingle!

  • Visit info tables to learn more about FOM, Local School Council, & more!

  • Dine at Shucos Chicago food truck & buy Mayer Merch! (exact cash, credit card, Apple Pay permitted)

  • Stay & play with your family to celebrate the start of another school year

Please DO NOT bring school supplies to the Meet & Greet. Instead, plan to drop them off during the first week of school (the day is about meeting, not supplies)

2 - Back-to-School Breakfast

WHEN: Monday, August 18, 8:30 am (after drop off) - 10:00 am
WHERE: Trebes Park (by the green chairs)

Whether you’re fighting off tears or celebrating the survival of summer, come meet new Mayer families and connect with old ones while learning how to get involved with FOM. 

  • Pre-K families are encouraged to bring their kiddos! 

  • Coffee, hot chocolate, and treats will be provided by our generous sponsor Cup Town
