Welcome to Friends of Mayer Magnet School

Friends of Mayer (FOM) is a not-for-profit group of parent volunteers whose mission is to support Mayer via fundraising and community building initiatives in order to support the mission and day-to-day operations of Mayer Magnet School.

FOM depends on Mayer’s vibrant community to reach its mission. From attending the events, volunteering to help the day of, to joining a planning committee, there are many ways to help.

The Mayer Scholastic Book Fair is Back!

The best week of the year returns April 20–24!
Mayer receives 25% of all Book Fair purchases, including online orders from April 17–30.
Each class will visit the Fair once during school hours, and can return anytime with a hall pass. Parents can shop Monday–Wednesday 2:30–4:00pm, Thursday 2:30–6:30pm, and during International Night.

Support Esther’s Friends - We are partnering again with Esther’s Friends (a Mayer-family charity supporting children facing long-term hospitalizations).
Parent shoppers can purchase (or bring) new books to donate to the charity to distribute to children in need.
