Mayer SEED Project

Introducing: the National Seed Project at Mayer!
- We are excited to help launch Mayer's SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) parent group! Come attend a SEED TEASER on Wednesday, September 25, from 4:45pm - 5:30pm in the Mayer library (before Open House) to introduce the program and answer questions.
- Join us in a 9-month process of learning about our diversity, reflecting on our personal identities, and promoting social justice. SEED requires an openness to learn about yourself and others through participating in a 2-hour dialogue session once a month.
- The SEED seminars will be facilitated by local school community members and staff who have been trained as SEED leaders. These leaders do not lecture and will lead you in experiential, interactive activities and conversations often stimulated by films and readings.
- If you would like to join SEED or have questions, please see this flyer HERE and/or reach out to Amy Khare or Liz Wontor-Leach. We'd love to have you join us in this journey! If interested in joining this group, please submit a SEED interest form HERE.
