Keep your kids busy – camp resources in case of a strike

Dear Mayer Magnet Parent,

We understand that many Mayer parents are now looking for camps and classes to enroll their children in for the week of October 10th or 17th in the event of an upcoming teachers strike. After hearing the news that the Chicago Teachers Union voted to authorize a strike to begin as early as October 11th, the thought of your kids not having school in mid-October became a reality. Some of our Mayer Supporters are planning to offer classes or special camps during this time. To assist those looking for camps and classes, we wanted to share this information with you and hope you will support the businesses that support Mayer all year long.

Thank you,

Friends of Mayer
