CPS Enrollment (http://www.cps.edu/Schools/Enroll_in_a_school/Pages/Enrollinaschool.aspx): Oscar Mayer Magnet School is both a neighborhood school and a Fine Arts Magnet Cluster school. It offers a variety of programs, which you can learn about by calling or visiting the school. Students who live within the attendance area can attend their neighborhood school without applying, just by stopping by the school and completing the necessary enrollment forms. As a neighborhood school (in addition to being a Magnet Cluster school), Mayer Elementary boasts close community links, and offers many opportunities for parent involvement, such as Friends of Mayer, classroom volunteering, and its Local School Council.
